Dr. Sangsu Han is a board-certified specialist in ophthalmology and oculoplastic surgery. Dr. Han completed his Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) program at McMaster University. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Ottawa, where he was recognized with the Mark Cohen Prize, the award given to the top student pursuing ophthalmology.

He returned to McMaster University for his residency training, where he served as the Chief Resident. He then completed the fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at McMaster University, followed by additional surgical training in facial aesthetics in Seoul, South Korea.

Dr. Han is an active member in the academic community. He has published papers on numerous peer-reviewed journals, and has given presentations at distinguished conferences both nationally and internationally. Dr. Han constantly strives for excellence in both clinical and surgical care, with the aim to deliver optimal results personalized for each patient.

His interests include: cataract surgery, medical glaucoma, eyelid surgery, tear duct surgery, and facial aesthetic procedures. Dr. Han is bilingual in English and Korean.
